Musical Theatre at Studio Blue Dance is a dynamic and engaging program designed to develop confident, expressive performers through specialist singing and dance training inspired by the world of musical theatre.
Our program is centred around the iconic musicals seen on Broadway and stages around the world. Students explore character-driven performance, storytelling, stage presence, and musical interpretation while learning material inspired by legendary choreographers and creatives such as Bob Fosse, Jerome Robbins, and Jerry Mitchell.
Step into the world of Broadway with our Musical Theatre Dance classes. Led by Miss Carlie, students will combine dance, storytelling and performance to bring songs and characters to life on stage.
Classes focus on developing technique, musicality, stage presence, expression and confidence while learning routines inspired by popular musicals and theatre productions. Students will explore a variety of dance styles commonly seen in musical theatre, creating well-rounded performers who can connect with an audience and tell a story through movement.
